at Ellen M. Leach Memorial Home
The Ellen M. Leach Memorial Home consists of 90 one and two-bedroom apartment homes within three wings on three floors. You’ll find a relaxing sitting area at every corner or discover a leisure interest in our Library, Activity Room, Computer Room, Fitness Area, Billiard’s Room, Beauty Salon and/or Community Room. The Leach Home offers three elevators and several laundry rooms throughout for your convenience.
Dining
Our daily continental breakfast, from 7 a.m.- 9 a.m., is comprised of coffee, tea, milk, juices and an assortment of cereal, breads, muffins, doughnuts and/or fruit. The full-course meal for lunch, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., is a delectable, freshly prepared entree in an upscale, full-service dining room.
Activities
Our beautiful Community Room features an amazing stage for performances as well as an adjacent Billiard’s Room complete with a jukebox. Whether you participate in weekly games, arts & crafts, attend events or join the Book Club, the Leach Home has ample opportunities for our Residents.

Our charming greenhouse is available for residents to enjoy year-round.
The Grounds

Four years ago I was living alone. I lost most of my eyesight in one eye. At that time, I was 91 years old. This gave me a wake-up call. It was time to be around other people. Checking out the independent living homes in the area, the Ellen Leach Memorial Home was the most appealing to me. The people here are friendly. The wait, cook and cleaning staff are proficient, helpful and very caring. I am now 95 years old, and I know I made the correct decision." ~ Ed H.
